Who Benefits from Permanent Cosmetics?
Both men and women with temporary or permanent hair loss,
thinning or faded brows and lashes, hand, arm or shoulder mobility limitations,
visual limitations, allergies, contact lens sensitivities, albinism, facial
burns, scar discoloration's, vitiligo, dexterity difficulties and of course
women with busy schedules who just want the luxury of waking up with their make
up on. There are millions of women over 40, struggling to apply make up just
due to normal visual limitations. Permanent cosmetics are a blessing for these
women.
The object of these procedures is to raise self-confidence, self esteem and
allow for more activity and personal freedom. Indoor and outdoor activities
such as biking, dancing, swimming, golfing, gardening, boating, etc., that were
impaired by the concern of keeping make up on are enjoyed, once again.
In many cases having permanent make up means having more confidence in an
intimate or personal way and makes a significant difference in these peoples
lives. Women and men of all ages and backgrounds benefit from permanent makeup.
Everyone from athletes and professional actors or dancers, to those who suffer
from arthritis and muscle disorders find permanent make up a lifesaver.
Those with busy, active lives are looking to enhance their appearance. My
practice is greatly developed by referrals from dermatologists, allergists,
ophthalmic surgeons, oncologists and plastic and cosmetic surgeons, both
locally and from surrounding areas.
EYEBROWS:
Anyone who has over-tweezed, has gaps or scars, or suffers
from Alopecia. People who have visual or other problems preventing them from
applying their eyebrows. Every face is meant to have eyebrows. Eyebrows frame
the face and give the face expression and character. Color can be implanted as
a solid look or hair-like strokes.
Soft, subtle and beautiful eyebrows can be created using advanced techniques in
hair simulation. Brows appear to be totally natural as well as lend personal
freedom from the laborious chore of applying them each morning and sometimes
repeatedly throughout the day. Having permanent brows has allowed for many, an
additional 30 to 45 minutes of sleep each morning. Brows are designed to fit
your face, never are templates used.
LIP COLOR:
Anyone who lacks definite lip shape, has pale lips, sun
damaged lips, uneven lip shape or lips that have lost shape due to scars or
injury. Anyone who wishes to emphasize their lips. Ideal for ladies with
"crease lines" or ladies who may want lip augmentation in the future.
Permanent lip reshaping, (making thin lips appear fuller) lip liner and full
lip color are popular procedures. Soft natural tones can be used to define an
existing or a new lip line. These lip procedures are known to create a most
youthful appearance. No need to worry about color coming off when you eat,
drink, play sports, sleep, or even kiss!
EYELINER:
Anyone with pale eyes, blond lashes, oily skin, small eyes
needing definition and shape, contact lens wearers, people with allergies, poor
eyesight or those who just don't want to take the time for tedious liner
application. It can be applied in fine or wide lines, tapered or dotted in to
enhance lash line. Color may be shaded over the line to enhance eye color
Lash enhancement and permanent eyeliner are also a favorite for people on the
go, especially those with allergies. No running or smearing from over the
counter eyeliners, ever again!! I create permanent eyeliner to give the eyes
more lift, creating vibrancy to the entire face.
AREOLA COLOR:
For ladies needing
balance, color and definition. A must for those who have undergone a mastectomy
and breast rebuild. Scars from breast reductions can be camouflaged.
After surgical procedures, re-pigmentation can be done to camouflage scars and
imperfections. Breast cancer and reconstructive surgery patients favor the
results of techniques used to create the illusion of areolas and nipples.
SCAR MINIMIZING:
Burn survivors, and
those born with disfiguring birthmarks have also benefited from cosmetic color
implantation.
